On Sunday night, the Daytime Emmy Awards were broadcast online. Watch the full show here if you missed it. I made individual posts on a few of the dresses worn by General Hospital actresses in my previous posts. Here, I thought I'd gather some other photos of the event.

My favorite part of the ceremony was the tribute to Agnes Nixon, creator of All My Children, One Life to Live, and Loving. Susan Lucci (Erica Kane, All My Children) spoke about her friend and mentor, and the tribute included clips of many actors from All My Children and One Life to Live speaking about Nixon's influence. It was moving, heartfelt, and beautifully done.

Robert Palmer Watkins (Dillon Quartermaine) performed "Seasons of Love" from RENT with several other actors at the beginning of the show. His suit is by Mr Turk, and he asked fans to help him decide which suit to wear before the Emmys on instagram:

On Sunday night, Kelly Monaco (Sam Morgan) attended the Daytime Emmy Awards. Kelly and Donnell Turner (Curtis Ashford) presented the Best Younger Actress Emmy Award to their costar Lexi Ainsworth (Kristina Davis Corinthos). Kelly was dressed in a white mermaid gown with a plunging neckline and crisscross spaghetti shoulder straps by Jay Godfrey. Kelly's Kirani mermaid gown also comes in neon coral and black. In addition, the dress comes in a knee length bright watermelon pink version. The photos below are from Kelly's instagram.

On Sunday night, Laura Wright (Carly Corinthos) attended the Daytime Emmys where she was nominated for Lead Actress in a Drama Series. Laura was wearing a royal blue and black gown with a black mesh panel bodice and floral brocade mermaid skirt by Avery G. Laura's dress also comes in a black/gold rose print version and a knee length version with a round neck and flared skirt. There's also a plus size version of the dress with an A-line skirt and a knee length version with a fit-and-flare silhouette by Xscape. The photo below was posted on twitter.

Sunday night, Eden McCoy (Josslyn Jacks) attended the Daytime Emmys and cheered on her General Hospital coworkers. Eden was dressed in a two-piece cocktail dress with an ivory bodice and flared green printed skirt by Sherri Hill from her Spring 2017 line. This photo was posted by @GeneralHospital's official twitter account.

Sunday night, Carolyn Hennesy (Diane Miller, General Hospital) interviewed her fellow actors at the Daytime Emmy Awards. She was dressed in a red mermaid gown embellished with red roses and fringe by Fouad Sarkis Couture. The photo below was posted on twitter.

Lexi Ainsworth (Kristina Davis Corinthos) of General Hospital received the Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series Emmy Award. She was presented her Emmy by Donnell Turner (Curtis Ashford) and her TV sister Kelly Monaco (Sam Morgan). Lexi gave a heartfelt, beautiful speech. She was wearing a gorgeous lace dress with a pink satin bodice and bow train at the back by Oscar de la Renta. It's from the Spring 2011 Wedding Collection. Didn't Lexi look stunning?


You might recognize the dress because it was worn on General Hospital back in 2011 by Brenda Barrett (Vanessa Marcil) when she married Kristina's father Sonny.

Last night was the 43rd Daytime Emmys. Unfortunately, the celebration didn't air live on TV this year, but you can watch the Emmys in their entirety here.

On Monday, Michelle Stafford (Nina Reeves, GH) and Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones, GH) were interviewed on the FABLife. Michelle talked about watching Luke and Laura, and she played a game to make ordinary sentences more soapy sounding. If you missed the interview, you can watch some clips here. During the interview, Michelle was wearing a beaded pink slip dress called the "Pink Starry Night Slip" from Free People. It's currently out of stock online.

On Monday, Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones, GH) and Michelle Stafford (Nina Reeves, GH) were interviewed on the FABLife. Kirsten described how viewers mistake her for her character, and she played a game where she made the line, "This doesn't taste like skim milk," sound soap-worthy. You can watch clips from the interview here. Kirsten was wearing a black lace peasant top, and she shared on twitter that it's from Free People. With a little searching, I found that it's called the "Collared Lace Inset Top," but unfortunately, it seems to be sold out online. You might be able to hunt it down in stores.

While searching for Lucy Coe's black and white dress from this week's GH episodes, I came across a dress that looked familiar. I realized it was the gown Emme Rylan (Lulu Falconeri, GH) wore at the 2014 Daytime Emmys last month. Emme Rylan's dress by Aidan Mattox and available at Bloomingdale's.

The Paley Center for Media presented a special event to celebrate Fifty Years of General Hospital with the cast and creators on April 12, 2013. At this golden anniversary event, Laura Wright (Carly Corinthos) was wearing a white, green, blue, and black colorblocked mini dress with dolman sleeves by BCBGMAXAZRIA.
